
On the morning of March 27, 2026, the An Giang Investment, Trade, and Tourism Promotion Center organized a workshop titled "Developing Tour Routes and Tourism Products for An Giang Province in 2026". The event attracted over 100 delegates, including leaders of departments and local authorities, experts, and travel businesses from both within and outside the province.
This workshop serves not only as a networking forum but also as a strategic stepping stone for the "New An Giang" (merged from the former An Giang and Kien Giang provinces) to redefine its direction and build attractive, high-quality, and competitive destinations on the national tourism map.

In her opening remarks, Ms. Quang Xuan Lua – Director of the An Giang Investment, Trade, and Tourism Promotion Center, highly praised the local "golden" resources post-merger, from sea and island resorts to unique spiritual and ecological values.
However, alongside the achievements, An Giang tourism still faces certain limitations: unsynchronized tour routes and products, a lack of connectivity, and a lack of distinct branding to enhance competitiveness. These are the issues that need to be frankly recognized and addressed with breakthrough solutions in the coming time.

Rather than merely exploiting raw resources, delegates proposed that An Giang should focus on "packaging products" into unique, distinctive, and sustainable experiences to retain tourists.
Strong collaboration between the State – Businesses – Community is the core to forming a value chain and building a professional tourism brand rooted in local cultural preservation

Delegates proposed that the application of Digital Transformation, the development of Smart Tourism Products, and the enhancement of professional human resources are vital "levers" for the New An Giang to establish a solid position on the national and international tourism maps

Concluding the seminar, Ms. Quang Xuan Lua reaffirmed that the Center consistently accompanies and supports An Giang businesses through provincial digital platforms such as apc.angiang.gov.vn and checkinangiang.vn.
Notably, the An Giang Promotion Ecosystem ((angiangpromotion.vn, angiangpromotion.vn) plays a pivotal role in assisting businesses with digitalization and promoting products and services on digital platforms. She called on businesses to jointly build: "One An Giang - One Vision - One Will - One Belief in Success.
