
On March 1st, Ha Tien City officially launched the Calligraphy Street featuring the theme "Chants of the Ten Scenic Sights of Ha Tien"
The event is a key highlight of the festival marking the 290th anniversary of the Chieu Anh Cac Literary Society (1736 - 2026).
Traditional Art and Craftsmanship

The festival street attracted 22 professional calligraphers and a variety of traditional performers, offering a rich cultural experience:
Folk Music:

Artists performing traditional Vietnamese musical instruments at the opening ceremony.
Performances of traditional Vietnamese musical instruments by artists from Ho Chi Minh City.
Cultural Crafts:
Displays of To he (dough figurines), coconut leaf weaving, and the sophisticated art of tea ceremonies.
The Spring Writing Ceremony:

Calligraphers (Ong Do) performing the ritual of The First Spring Writing Ceremony.
Ten artists collaborated on a calligraphy piece of the poem The Homeland of Chieu Anh Cac by the poetess Mong Tuyet.
Honoring Literary Legends:

Ha Tien local leaders present letters of appreciation to the artists participating in the Calligraphy Street.
The event also serves as a special tribute to:
- The 120th birth anniversary of the renowned poet Dong Ho.
- The 100th anniversary of Tri Duc Hoc Xa, a historical center of learning.
This Calligraphy Street marks the beginning of a vibrant festival season, inviting international visitors to explore the unique spiritual and artistic heritage of Ha Tien.
